Chiropractic is a primary healthcare profession and is growing hugely in popularity

Chiropractic care is suitable for people of all ages from babies to the very elderly
because it takes such an individual approach. We use a wide range of hands-on techniques;
some apply gentle pressure others are more direct manipulations; it depends on the
problem and patient preference. It is the chiropractor's job to find a solution to
fit the person - not just the condition.
Individual Approach
We have an individual approach as no two people with the same condition present
in the same way, e.g. a young male footballer suffering with sciatica will have
different problems and require a different treatment approach to a pregnant woman
with sciatica.
Accurate Diagnosis
After a proper medical history and examination, we determine the diagnosis. If the problem is something that will respond to chiropractic care, then we can discuss how to tackle it and get you better as quickly as
possible. If the problem is found
to be outside the scope of chiropractic, a report of findings can be sent to your GP or other medical professional to ensure you get the
most appropriate care. So whatever the problem, there will be a path forwards. An
accurate diagnosis is the most important part of the process.
Rehabilitation, Pilates and Massage
In addition to chiropractic we have excellent rehabilitation facilities. When recovering
from a long-term problem or an injury, certain muscle groups become deconditioned
and weak. Specific exercise programs can be tailor-made to suit your body and lifestyle to retrain posture, strength and co-ordination.
Our Pilates classes are very popular. They are a very effective way of training
abdominal and lower back strength and improving posture.
We also do a fabulous therapeutic
massage. Massage can help to prepare your body for exercise or can be used for deep relaxation.
